Score guarantee and refunds

The guarantee. If you buy full access and don't score 1500+ on the official SAT, we refund the full purchase price ($499), provided all the conditions below are met.

Where you need to start

The guarantee assumes you start at 1300+. You show that with an official SAT score report dated before your purchase, or with your first full-length practice test in Apex.

What you need to claim

You need all three of these:

  1. An official College Board SAT score report for a test taken after your purchase date, with a total below 1500.
  2. A second official College Board SAT score report for a later test date, also below 1500. Both reports must clearly show the student's name and the test dates.
  3. Your Apex account must show at least 90% of course skills mastered. We check this on our side, so include the email address on your account with your claim.

Timing and limits

  • File your claim within 60 days of the release of your second score.
  • One refund per purchase.
  • Approved refunds go back in full to the original payment method, usually within 10 business days of approval.

How to claim

Reply to your purchase receipt email, with both score reports attached and the email address on your Apex account. We will confirm the mastery check and get back to you.

Other refunds

Outside this guarantee, purchases are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service, and it governs if the two ever differ on the guarantee.
